General Terms and Conditions

  1. Validity: The business relationship between Veloparts GmbH and the customer is governed exclusively by the following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the order. Deviating conditions of the customer are only valid with the written consent of Veloparts GmbH.
  2. The Offer: Our offers are non-binding and without obligation in all respects.
  3. Delivery Times: Delivery dates are generally non-binding, except for agreed fixed dates. Claims for damages due to delay are excluded. Partial deliveries, especially for larger orders, must be accepted by the customer.
  4. Benefit and Risk: Transfer as soon as the goods are taken over or handed over for shipment.
  5. Versand: Der Verpackungskostenanteil und Porto gemäss Absprache.
  6. Prices: All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs, including the current value-added tax, ex Oberurnen.
  7. Payment: Orders are generally shipped against prepayment. Payment on site is possible by arrangement. The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
  8. Warranty / Product Liability: All our products are delivered in flawless condition. We grant you a 3-year warranty on frames and forks, and a 2-year warranty on all other components, starting from the date of purchase. If a warranty claim is made, this neither extends nor restarts the warranty period. If a defect in the purchased item exists, we reserve the right to fulfill the warranty through repair or replacement. Excluded from the warranty are damages resulting from natural wear and tear, improper use, and insufficient or incorrect maintenance. The warranty is void if deterioration occurs due to repair attempts by the customer or third parties, or if the cause of damage can no longer be determined. A torque wrench must be used for correct assembly, and the specified torque values must be precisely observed. The warranty is void if components are not assembled exactly according to the Veloparts GmbH instructions. If the frame or fork is painted by the customer, the warranty becomes void. Since we have no influence over the preparatory work and painting, this can lead to invisible pre-damages to the frame or fork. Visible carbon in our technology has a load-bearing function. During manufacturing and curing in the mold, slight shifts in the fabric can occur. The reflective properties of carbon make even small shifts in the fabric visible. Such irregularities and small air inclusions are technologically inherent and cannot be completely avoided and do not constitute a processing error. Design decals may be subject to some wear due to sunlight exposure, use, and cleaning. Unsightly decals can be replaced while stocks last, but are considered cosmetic defects and are not grounds for a warranty claim. Unless otherwise stated below, any further claims by the customer, regardless of legal grounds, are excluded.
  9. Crash replacement: The crash replacement is a voluntary service offered by VELOPARTS GMBH, which gives you the one-time opportunity to replace your VELOPARTS GMBH frame with a 40% discount on the current official list price.

  10. Veloparts GmbH is not liable for damages caused by improper handling by the customer or external influence; in particular, Veloparts GmbH is not liable for lost profits or other financial losses of the customer. Under no circumstances shall the customer have claims for compensation for damages that did not occur to the delivered item itself (consequential damages). This limitation of liability does not apply where mandatory law (e.g., product liability obligations) prohibits it.

  11. Right of return and exchange: Exchanges or returns of items can only be accepted within 10 days if the products are in unopened original packaging. For exchanges, the full purchase price will be refunded. For returns, we refund the purchase price minus a processing fee of 10% of the purchase price, but at least CHF 15.00. Custom orders, e.g., complete bikes, cannot be accepted for return.
  12. **Acceptance and Jurisdiction:** By placing an order, the customer accepts the above general terms and conditions. The place of jurisdiction for any disputes is the registered office of Veloparts GmbH.
